74 Pages. Every Feature. The Docs Are Live.

Blue Synergy now has full reference documentation — 74 pages covering every feature across Clips, Triggers, Captures, and Settings. Here is how they were built, and why every claim in them was verified against the actual source code.

There is a particular kind of frustration that comes from good software with no documentation.

You know the feature exists. You can see it in the UI. But you cannot figure out exactly how it behaves at the edge — what happens when you hold Shift, what the default is, whether that setting persists across restarts.

You end up doing what nobody should have to do: test the software to understand its own rules.

Starting today, that problem is gone for Blue Synergy.

What Shipped

74 reference pages — one page per feature, organized into five sections:

  • Quick Start — up and running in under five minutes
  • Clips — 22 pages covering search, organization, glue, split, tags, diff viewer, versioning, text transforms, and more
  • Triggers — 10 pages covering keystroke tokens, YAML import, typing modes, erase methods, multi-select
  • Captures — 10 pages covering OCR, region selector, flash capture, annotations, thumbnail navigation
  • Settings — 21 pages covering themes, keyboard shortcuts, backup, trash, licensing, and everything in between

Every page follows the same structure: what it does, how to use it, configuration table with exact defaults, tips and gotchas.

Every page has been verified for accuracy — defaults, hotkeys, and behavior descriptions all match the current build.

One Page Per Feature

The philosophy behind the structure is simple: a user who knows roughly what they want should be able to find a dedicated page for it in under ten seconds.

No monolithic “How to use Blue Synergy” guide that buries the *format=HTML filter syntax in paragraph fourteen. No PDF manual from 2019.

Each page is self-contained. You can link directly to OCR Language Packs or Keystroke Tokens without navigating through five parent pages first.

What Is Coming

The docs are in English. They are structured for translation from day one.

German documentation is the next priority after the current development phase.

There is also a Quick Start section that currently covers five pages. It will grow as the product matures — guides for power users, integration examples, and keyboard shortcut references are already planned.

A Note on Alpha

Blue Synergy is still in closed alpha. The docs reflect the current build — v0.7.30 — and will be updated with each release.

If you are on the Early Adopter list, the docs are the fastest way to discover features you may not have found yet. The Keyboard Shortcuts page alone has a few defaults that most alpha users have not noticed.

If you are not on the list yet, you can apply at blue-synergy.com/alpha.
