Overlay Position
Choose where the Quick Overlay opens on your screen.

By default the overlay opens in the center of your screen. You can move it to any corner or edge, and choose whether it follows your cursor across monitors or stays pinned to one.
How to use it
- Open Settings → Overlay → Position.
- Choose a Position from the dropdown — seven options available (see below).
- Choose a Monitor — “Follow cursor” opens the overlay on whichever monitor your mouse is on; select a specific monitor to always open there.
- Close settings. The next overlay hotkey press opens at the new position.
Changes take effect immediately — no restart needed.
Position options
| Position | Where it opens |
|---|---|
| Center | Middle of the monitor (default) |
| Top Left | Top-left corner |
| Top Center | Top edge, centered |
| Top Right | Top-right corner |
| Bottom Left | Bottom-left corner |
| Bottom Center | Bottom edge, centered |
| Bottom Right | Bottom-right corner |
Tips & gotchas
- If you pin the overlay to a specific monitor and that monitor is disconnected, the overlay falls back to the primary monitor automatically.
- On a single-monitor setup, “Follow cursor” and “Monitor 1” behave identically.
- The overlay appears at the chosen position with no flicker — positioning happens before the window becomes visible.
