Extra Keywords

Give one trigger multiple aliases — any of them fires the same expansion.

A trigger has one primary keyword and can have as many extra keywords (aliases) as you want. All aliases fire the same workflow and are searchable in the overlay.

How to use it

Add extra keywords

  1. Select a trigger and press Ctrl+E to open the editor.
  2. In the Extra Keywords field (below the main keyword), type an alias and press Enter.
  3. Repeat for each alias.
  4. Save.

All keywords appear in the trigger table alongside the primary keyword.

Rename the primary keyword (F2)

Press F2 on any trigger row to rename its primary keyword inline — no need to open the full editor.

  • Type the new keyword and press Enter to confirm.
  • Press Escape to cancel.

Tips & gotchas

  • Extra keywords follow the same immediate/non-immediate rule as the primary keyword.
  • Duplicate-keyword detection runs against all keywords — primary and extras — so you will be warned if an alias already exists elsewhere.
  • Extra keywords are searchable in the Quick Overlay just like primary keywords.
  • The Extra Keywords column is available in the column chooser (right-click any column header).
