Ribbon Quick Settings
Toggle the most common capture options directly from the ribbon — no Settings dialog needed.

Five toggles live in the ribbon for instant access. Changes take effect immediately.
How to use it
The toggles are in two groups in the Captures ribbon:
Options
| Toggle | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Hide Window | On | Hides the Blue Synergy window during capture, then restores it |
| Capture Cursor | Off | Includes the mouse cursor in the screenshot |
| Hotkeys Enabled | On | Enables all capture hotkeys — turn off to avoid conflicts with other apps |
Output
| Toggle | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Copy to Clipboard | Off | Automatically copies the screenshot to the clipboard after capture |
| Save to Disk | On | Saves the screenshot as a PNG file. Off = memory-only (lost on app close), with a warning indicator on thumbnails |
Tips & gotchas
- Save to Disk off: captures are held in memory only. Closing the app discards the full-resolution image — only the thumbnail remains in the database. An orange dot appears on thumbnails as a warning.
- Hotkeys Enabled only disables capture hotkeys — the Quick Overlay hotkey is not affected.
- All changes take effect immediately without saving or restarting.
Configuration
All toggles are stored under Settings → Captures:
| Setting | Default |
|---|---|
| Hide Window | On |
| Capture Cursor | Off |
| Hotkeys Enabled | On |
| Copy to Clipboard | Off |
| Save to Disk | On |
