Layout Modes
Switch between three panel arrangements in any workspace.

All three workspaces — Clips, Triggers, and Captures — support layout modes A, B, and C. Switch via the A/B/C buttons in the toolbar or the View menu.
How to use it
Click the A, B, or C buttons in the toolbar, or go to View → Layout A / B / C.
In Captures, use the View ribbon tab → Layout group.
| Layout | Clips / Triggers | Captures |
|---|---|---|
| A | Tree · List · Preview (side by side) | Tree · Editor + Thumbnails below |
| B | Same as A, tree collapsed | Same as A, tree collapsed |
| C | Tree left, List + Preview stacked | Tree · Thumbnails left of Editor |
Layout C flip button
In Layout C, a small flip button (double arrows) appears on the horizontal splitter between the two stacked panels. Click it to swap which panel is on top.
Tree toggle
- Clips / Triggers: Tree toggle button in the toolbar.
- Captures: View ribbon tab → Tree icon.
Tips & gotchas
- Switching from B to A auto-expands the tree; B auto-collapses it.
- Layout choices and splitter sizes are saved per workspace.
- The flip button only appears in Layout C.
